Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr started her career in the year 1990, with the Celtic rock group The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr (born Andrea Corr) is a famous Irish singer, musician and songwriter. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was awarded to Andrea Corr, and she's also well-known as the leader of The Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of The Corrs, she is also the group's leader. Andrea began her acting career in the year 1991. In the following years, she developed into an experienced musician and performer on stage. She was a voice actress on the Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is an extremely multifaceted performer. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums as well as one mix. Her charitable efforts have also received recognition. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and they have two kids. Andrea began her music education by playing the tin flute. Gerry was her teacher when she began to learn the piano. Andrea is also a ukulele player. She polished her musical skills during her teenage years. She teamed up with her sisters and brothers to be the lead singer of the group. Andrea attended 'Dun Lughaidh Convent which is where she was a frequent participant in school performances.
