Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress, is known for her work in film and on television since the mid 1980s. The actress has won numerous accolades like the Golden Globe Award and sixteen NAACP Image Award. Angela Evelyn is an American actor. Bassett comes originally from New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett as well as her sister, and their mother relocated from the city of Winston-Salem to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was just five. Their father separated from their mom. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after she saw the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. In the year 1980, Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from the Yale School of Drama. She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead characters in the film Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
